My name is Jaquin Gonzalez-Foda V. I am addressing you all on this mystical Saturday evening to commemorate our marvelous experience on the fine establishment of the N.C.S.B. A.K.A North Country Steak Buffet. You will not encounter a more pleasant experience in a restaurant in the Midwestern area. There was not a finer place to celebrate our comrades day of birth (Mikayla) nor a better cite to replenish our bodies after a suspenseful day in the LaCrosse center. My peers and I would like to give a huge shoutout to our waitress Serena (like the Williams) for assisting our needs as the evening continued. For example, Serena (like the Williams) read my fellow gent Ethan's mind like a serve crashing down at Wimbledon. She restocked his drink before he could say NORTH COUNTRY STEAK BUFFET! Overall I cannot fathom how successful my experience was today. I cannot wait to return next year!

First time stopping In. Price was good for the buffet . Lots to choose from. Steaks are ok.. could use some seasoning on them. The place is really clean.. the waitresses are friendly and attentive. I recommend this place for sure .

New favorite place to eat in Lacrosse. Sometimes the steak line requires a bit of a wait but still well worth the price of admission.

This place is FANTASTIC!! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious, and they have a GREAT variety!! The buffet bar is clean and well stocked. The ladies that get your drinks and clear the tables are the BEST working staff that I have seen in many years--those ladies never stop moving, and they are always polite and nice!! A GREAT PLACE to eat!!

First I'd like to thank Siri and my maps app for leading me here. Actually it's out of the way from where I was traveling but I'm happy for the experience. I had a 5 oz sirloin rare, somehow prepared in less than a minute. Delicious! Next I sampled the burger with pepper jack cheese. Also delicious! I tried the shrimp - not jumbo but not popcorn either. Again, delicious. I had something new (to me), pork stroganoff. Pretty good, over mashed potatoes (no egg noodles?). I rounded dinner off with several deserts. They gave me a senior discount... how can they do this for $11.99? The ONLY complaint I have is that it's over 200 miles from home. I'm going to be looking for excuses to drive down highway 90 from now on. Thanks for a great "on the road " dining experience.

Steak and lots of it! Sounds like a carnivore's dream and vegetarian's nightmare, but it's not that cut and dry by any means. It's a buffet and there's enough to eat if you're vegetarian. If you're not vegetarian, I believe that the steaks are all you can eat, which is very unusual. This is not like a Ponderosa (remember those?), where you get one thin steak that looks nothing like it does in the picture. Nope, you get steaks made to order and they looked thick enough that they might be something that a meat eater might enjoy. It's a small buffet, but everything is packed densely on each table, so there's a lot more to eat than on first glance. Highlights for me included the salad bar, potato wedges and a baked potato. I guess I was in the mood for a potato that day! I would say that everything was good, but not great, but it is a buffet. Our server was great, by the way, making it a good experience all around. Almost worthy of five stars, but I'm tempering your expectations (and my future expectations) with four stars. Stop in!
